A leading listed financial institution is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel in Shenzhen or Shanghai. The role will be responsible for a wide range of general commercial legal issues, including regulatory compliance, corporate governance policies, risk management, complex deals management, and contract drafting and reviewing. You must be PRC qualified with over 8 years’ regulatory compliance PQE in China’s financial or securities corporations. Knowledge of the securities and commodities industry and its practice is essential, as well as the familiarity of the regulators. Good communicator with strong analytical skills and business acumen is preferred. Prior financial regulatory experience will be highly regarded, but not a must.
