Our client is a European Pharmaceutical Company.

• Provide efficient and effective legal support; identify and mitigate legal risks;

• Draft, review and propose modifications to contracts including for commercial, medical and clinical activities, marketing activities, manufacturing, etc.; Develop and maintain contract templates and provide trainings to the users;

• Work with other functions to review company activities, including (a) marketing activities; (b) promotional activities and materials; (c) clinical trials; (d) communication activities, and (e) interaction with hospitals, patients, regulators and etc., to ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of such activities;

• Advise on PRC laws in the realm of pharmaceuticals, corporate, contract, anti-corruption, anti-trust, Intellectual Property Rights, torts, etc.;

• Monitor legislation development and law enforcement, keep business informed of changes, and supervise compliance with applicable laws in business operations;

• Provide training to internal employees to ensure their compliance with law and company policies;

• Assist Line Manager to support business development projects;

• Assist Line Manager to develop local policies and procedures relating to the legal function, and implement the global legal policies and programs in alignment with Corporate Legal;

• Assist Line Manager to manage external lawyers/ advisors.

Education:

• Law degree from a reputable university with qualification to practice law in the PRC; LL.M/MBA/EMBA is a plus;

• Languages: fluency in both Chinese and English (both written and spoken).

Experience (Proficiency):

• At least 10 years' working experience, including both law firm experience and MNC experience; working experience in an international healthcare company is a plus;

• Experience in the field of ethics and compliance is a plus and if not, awareness of the same is at least required;

• Be able to work independently under minimum supervision;

• Be able to work under pressure and be a team player;
