Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting functionally to the Lighting-Special Effects Manager.

• Assist the Lighting-Special Effects Manager with the operation of all aspects for the Lighting-Special Effects Section at the Cotai Theatre and MGM properties, MGM China.

* Works in partnership with all departments within MGM to include Artistic and Entertainment Operations.*

• Perform all duties in accordance with MGM China’s policies and within the realm of MGM China’s Mission Statement.

Job Requirements:

* Minimum 3+ years experience as a theatrical lighting and/or special effects technician within the context of large scale theatrical operations.

* Minimum 2+ years experience with working at heights and working with fall protection and fall arrest PP&E.

* College Diploma and/or related technical accreditation and significant experience preferred.

• Must possess strong English language skills, both written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate in both Cantonese and Mandarin (both written and verbal) preferred.

• Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Knowledge of PC based systems, MS Office software and computer assisted drafting.
