Job Description

  • Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.

  • Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.

  • Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.

  • Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.

  • Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.

  • Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.

  • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of industry work experience.

OR

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of industry work experience.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in RTL design including functional and performance validation using System Verilog as well as logic synthesis and timing closure.

  • 2+ years of experience in IP integration and debug.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience RTL/Logic design of complex modules (e.g. ALUs).

  • 5+ years of experience in IP/SOC physical design and database convergence.

  • CPU architecture and microarchitecture (ARM, x86) and bus/interconnect protocols (AXI, APB, PCIe).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$97,230.00-$160,990.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
