As an experienced Lean Agile Coach, you will be responsible for enabling and coaching teams and/or business units throughout their journey into adopting Lean mindset and practices and other change management activities, with the objective of achieving tangible business outcomes and process efficiencies.You will work and align with a fast-growing and dynamic Group Agile Centre of Excellence team.
- Enable AIA’s new way of working through hands on coaching/mentoring of pilot and project teams in adopting the Lean Agile mindset, principles, and practices in the delivery of digital, and innovation initiatives and projects using the AIA’s Lean Agile operation model.
- Leverage on change management practices to enable Lean and Agile transformation, promoting a culture of innovation.
- Develop and provide ongoing engaging workshops, training and mentoring to upskill team members, business units with practices to enhance their Lean capabilities.
- Enable teams’s self-organisation through enablement of decision making, shared ownership and conflict resolution.
- Enable teams to develop new mindsets (Lean and Agile), and coach the teams to make continuous improvement adjustments to processes, structure, and people to achieve more efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coach and lead effectively that encourages teams to challenge the status quo, experiment using the scientific method and confidently propose more valuable ways of working.
- Help teams adopt practices such as value stream mapping, class of services, limit WIP, and other Kanban practices.
- Monitor, coach, and continuously support value stream transformation and optimisation initiatives by coaching on Lean principles, tools and methodologies.
- Help establish the right measurements to help drive continuous improvement and provide statistical problem solving analysis.
- Provide continuous feedback on the Lean and Agile operating models (terminology, practices, and governance) from both prior experience and observations from ongoing implementation and coaching experience.
- Be an active member of the Agile community; sharing best practices, tools, and experience with other fellow coaches and Agile enthusiasts.
Job Requirements :
- You are a strong change agent and can influence mindset and behaviors, including those of senior leaders.
- You are articulate, engaging and inspiring in your communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
- You are a self-starter, with the ability to ideate, plan, and execute Lean related
- initiatives to support new ways of working
- You are passionate about Lean, Agile, innovation and change and are excited to promote and embed them across the organization
- You love coaching people to embrace change and new ways of working
- You have a strong knowledge in Lean and Agile ways of working including values, principles, practices and tools
- You have proven experience in coaching teams within digital, legacy, and innovation environments through the adoption of agile practices and driving or supporting agile transformation programs in medium to large organizations
- You are courageous and comfortable coaching and challenging teams and senior leaders
- Lean or Kanban certifications and/or process background is strongly appreciated
