As a Senior Manager, you need to proactively assist the Registrar to ensure that the policies and functions of the Architects Registration Board (ARB) are carried out effectively and efficiently for upholding the professional standards and integrity of registered architects. You are also responsible for implementing the mandate of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) in promoting architectural excellence, as well as taking charge of the activities for individual and corporate members and safeguarding their benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Providing secretariat support to ARB and its Committees;
• Handling complaints, disciplinary proceedings and litigations ;
• Handling members’ admission and registration and enhancing the process ;
• Conducting analyses and researches, preparing related presentation for the management on internal and external events or designated projects ;
• Maintaining good liaison and communication with members, government, allied professional bodies, media, related stakeholders and the general public;
• Undertaking any other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer from time to time.

Requirements:

• An university degree and preferably a professional qualification.
• At least 8 years of management experience in higher educational institutions, NGOs, government or public sectors.
• Experience in legal field is preferable.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese;
• Experience in disciplinary proceedings, Committee work and event management a definite advantage;
• A high level of interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
