Responsibilities

In view of the rapid expansion & continuous growth of the Company, we are looking for a high-calibre to help driving partnerships with high-tech companies, universities and institutions in the international market. Major responsibilities are listed below:-

• Proactively connect, engage and attract targeted international organizations and companies with leading innovations and technologies to set up research activities in Hong Kong Science Park (“HKSP”)
• Build and maintain senior-level relationship with related government bodies, high-tech companies, startup communities, etc. to establish a robust pipeline for partnership
• Bringing in top notch companies from international regions, to align and support the Innovation & Technology ecosystems in Hong Kong and Mainland China
• Closely monitor innovation landscape, policies and public & private funding mechanisms of responsible market segments & Hong Kong and orchestrate effective go-to-market strategies
• Develop engagement programs and host delegation visits to promote HKSP as an innovation and technology hub to key stakeholders
• Develop impactful opportunity pipelines and support close deal cases to hit the KPI of the company
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree, preferably in any Science or Technology subject from renowned university
• 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in working with MNCs, tech start-ups, R&D institutes, associations, global investment funding companies, science parks or industrial parks
• Experience in new business development in Europe, US or Canada and a deep understanding of their technology landscape is a definite advantage
• Deep insights of the Innovation & Technology ecosystems in International regions, plus a knowledge of Hong Kong and Mainland China market
• Practical experience in dealing with complicated business cases involving multiple levels and interactions of stakeholders is a plus
• Passionate in Biometric, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Smart City, ICT, Fintech, Advanced Materials Manufacturing or any Technology subjects
• Top business development skills inclusive communication skills, interpersonal skills, influencing skills and strong business acumen
• Diplomatic, self-initiated, independent, goal-getting, collaborative, customer-oriented
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including in Putonghua)
• Occasional business travel may be required
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for other positions
