Responsibilities: 

• Manage the facilities management service providers to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Corporation’s facilities;
• Assist in strategic facilities policy development & planning, space management and resources planning to maximize utilization of facilities resources;
• Review functions and operations of different areas in facilities management for continuous improvement and work towards FM Best Practice;
• Manage project development in building services such as: District Cooling System, HVAC, Electrical installation, BMS, security systems etc. from conceptual, engagement of consultant, obtaining relevant government authorities’ approval, engagement of contractor, monitoring contractor works to completion certificates;
• Coordinate with government authorities, utilities companies, consultants and contractors in facilities management, project design and construction;
• Manage project funding;
• Handle other assignments as required by Head of Facility Management.  

 
 
Requirements: 

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines;  
• Corporate membership of HKIE in Mechanical, Building Services or Electrical or equivalent;
• Minimum 8 years’ in relevant post qualification working experience in project development, construction and facilities management; Candidate with less experience will be considered lower position;
• Experience in handling fitting-out projects and knowledge of Government procedures and regulations;
• Experience in application of Smart Technology is an advantage;  
• Excellent communication, planning, organizational and management skills; self-motivated, confident, creative and strong desire to achieve better performance;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
