Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers strong analytical advice on internal compensation issues, market data, salary surveys and compensation practices in collaboration with compensation team members and HR Business Partners to make recommendations and influence business decisions.
- Supports the implementation of Thermo Fisher’s Annual Total Compensation Planning Process in close coordination with functional leaders, human resource teams and managers through development of tools, reporting and communication materials and managing training sessions
- Works under the supervision of the compensation leadership team to provide compensation support to all Groups and Functions by ensuring proper and efficient implementation of all corporate policies and procedures related to salary administration, incentive and long-term plan design and implementation.
- Ensures that compensation solutions are cost effective, market competitive, support business goals and strategies and are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.
- Develops metrics and analytics to inform HR leadership on compensation programs to inform and influence decision-making through timely, accurate analytics and data-driven business recommendations
- Performs analysis and forecasting for purposes of budget estimates and reporting
- Participates in the design, development and delivery of corporate compensation programs and initiatives by providing consultation along with research and analytical support.
- Develops and deliver manager and employee training on various compensation projects and initiatives
- Identify market trends to monitor competitiveness of programs, model cost implications, and recommend innovative and effective solutions
- Conducts research, learns best practices and provides input on recommendations on global plans and programs
- Acts project member/lead on various compensation projects and performs other duties and support as assigned by the Sr. Director, Compensation
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in a fast-paced environment at growth/scaling stage business and partnering with increasing levels of responsibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or other related discipline
- Working knowledge of Workday is a plus
- Project management skills
- Experience with financial modeling

- An analytical mindset and comfortable with interpreting data, recognizing and communicating trends, and developing material to present key data elements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong skills with MS Excel with formulas, models, graphs etc.
