Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager Digital Media & Communications, are to: 

 

  • Bridge integration of CDO, CO and R&D corporate social channels (e.g. locally Bayer Facebook pages) to support digital image and awareness;
  • Create and support the design and development of patient recruitment and retention materials and templates to support patient engagement and awareness utilizing on-line, print and stakeholder communications tools;
  • Provide expertise, insight, guidance and design to maintain and develop internal communication channels (internal: SharePoint, TEAMs, Outlook, Yammer, etc.) & external communication channels (external: Social Media platforms such as: FaceBook, LinkedIn, etc.);
  • Manage Business Insights with regard to industry meetings, conferences, and symposiums to track CDO participation, ROI’s, CDO speakers, CDO panelist involvement, key competitive intelligence, and manage stakeholder engagement with regard to key takeaways;
  • Develop logos, branding campaigns, templates, slide decks and other communication tools with technical skill for digital and print media;
  • Develop appropriate working practices that support the efficient planning, execution and tracking of Business Insight methods;
  • Investigate new methods, channels and innovations for better communications internally and externally;
  • Lead the execution of complex processes with regard to: electronic and print media, corporate compliance, and/ or LMR approvals for content internally and externally at conferences, meetings, and training events both Face to Face (F2F) and virtually, thereby, increasing efficiency through economies of scale and repetition;
  • Contribute to the team as an individual contributor based on technical expertise, a global team member to multiple teams within CDO and a team leader in the areas of compliance and logistics.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Graphic Design or related field with five years of Marketing / Sales team management or extensive design, branding and communication experience;
  • Technical Expert level experience with the following:
    • Command of English language oral and written;
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);  
    • Editing and revising insight of both graphic and copy data;
    • Expert knowledge and delivery of logo and branding in alignment with corporate standards;
    • Management of multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, etc.) with relevant posting and content insight;
    • Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point);
  • Ability to develop creative communications and methods including, but not limited to: Power Point or other electronic and print media;
  • Effective interpersonal and corporate communication skills, internally, externally and cross- functionally;
  • Experience with Data analytics (Google Analytics, AdWords Campaigns, etc.) to assess need and best usage strategies;
  • Working knowledge and experience with arranging logistics for meetings, conferences and corporate events;
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex communications and marketing Public Relations (PR) opportunities;
  • Acute confidence in public speaking and presenting to a global audience, F2F and virtually;
  • Proven ability to provide operational direction to peers and superiors with confidence;
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment, across time zones within a matrix organization;
  • Ability to be coached and aptitude for learning new processes and programs within a rapidly changing environment.
