Objectives of the Position
Lead and collaborate with relevant functions to develop and implement data governance / digital risk management programs, policies and processes in China controlled entities.
Task designation
•Data Risk Assessment:
Based on Europe and China data governance laws & regulations, particularly local Personal Information Protection and Data Security related laws & regulations, identify and evaluate data related risk areas in business operations of China, including the business interaction with non-controlled shareholdings in China
•Program/Policy/Process development:
Liaison with IL/C HQ as well as other relevant functions to define data governance / digital risk management programs/policies/processes in China controlled entities in order to fulfil China regulatory requirements
Develop mitigation plans for critical topics
Ensure synergy with HQ data governance framework
•Implementation and ongoing monitoring
Drive the implementation of the defined data governance / digital risk management programs/policies/processes in controlled entities.
Plan and deliver the trainings & communications to internal employees and business partners
Keep ongoing monitoring and ensure timely adaptation to cope with the development of external regulations as well as Daimler business operations.
•Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by Regional Compliance Officer

Ensuring that the necessary training appropriate to the needs of individual employees and the tasks assigned to them is provided.
Informing subordinated employees about the relevant provisions and instructing them to comply with the provisions. Ensuring that they are implemented properly.
