The Job

• Formulate strategies, plans and policies for the elderly services and related services / facilities in alignment with the corporate objectives such as the Ageing-in-Place Scheme, the Elderly Resources Centre and other new initiatives;
• Oversee the operation of the elderly care services and facilities and ensure they are operated within available resources and according to the corporate strategies and financial targets;
• Maintain superior standard of professional services and managing overall administration and staffing matters of elderly services in compliance with legal requirement and related code of practice;
• Develop and implement the promotion plan and activities of the elderly services through various channels including mass media and social media;
• Engage and develop collaborative relationship with both local and international elderly service providers, professional organizations, government departments, user groups and foundations.

The Person

• University degree in social work, nursing, other healthcare related disciplines  or equivalent;
• 12 years’ relevant experience in elderly services organization with minimum 8 years in management position;
• Possess gerontology / management qualification and experience in operating self-financing services will be a definite advantage; and
• Demonstrate business acumen, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
