Main task
1. Management
•Installation of Engineering and Maintenance Team. The management, motivation and development of staff using HR tools, founded on our mission statement & corporate values, and provision of purposeful internal communications in order to achieve the agreed objectives.
•Ensuring that the necessary training appropriate to the needs of individual employees and the tasks assigned to them is provided.
•Informing subordinated employees about the relevant provisions and instructing them to comply with the provisions. Ensuring that they are implemented properly.
2. Project Lead Tech Center China
•Final Planning and realization of Test Facilities within TCC during project phase.
•Ensure implementation of all technical contents within the project by meeting cost, timing and quality for construction phase 1 and 2. This should be done along the complete project, until “start of production” for the RD Tech Center China.
•Ongoing integration of experts (user side) from Germany into the project team (Corporate Real Estate, 3rd Party, Chinese authorities). Act as Window person for RD/x from Germany. Involve relevant line organization from Germany if necessary.
•Support projectteam in the case of technical and organizational problems.
•Tracking of project plans, analyze planning variances and initiate/track countermeasures to meet project goals (time, costs, quality), as well as risk assessment.
•Track the project database to document and spread project relevant files within the project team.
•Document project goal changes, changes of planning premises, etc. (change management). Periodical project reporting to all relevant customers within RD and project partners.
•Ensure transparency of the project for all project participants. Maintain approval process and committees, as well as a general meeting structure.
•Setup a warranty tracking and management system within the warranty time for all relevant equipment
3.Facility Management Test Facilities
•In close cooperation with CRE organize and manage the FM activities within the test building.
4.Maintenance Test Labs
•Ensure an efficient and reliable operation of all test labs design a predictive maintenance concept, establish and keep in operation. Strategical partners have to be managed by the team including monitoring KPI´s to evaluate the quality of maintenance work. Track and organize all maintenance activities.
•Setup and maintain a spare part management for test benches and test facility MEP.
5. Technical Planning
•Ensure a worldwide harmonized testing field all facilities must stay on the actual level and in case have to be renewed and/or improved. To ensure an up-to-date facility the team stays in close contact with the relevant experts in RD Headquarters and with the regulations team in China and Germany.
•In case of major updates the planning team is responsible for the specifications of renewals and changes, for the selection and management of vendors and also for the compliant planning process following all regulations.
•Strategy for test facility and management of planning and execution of renewals and improvements.
