Duties:The appointee will assist the Division Head to develop and expand the examination administration business of the Division focusing on opportunity arising based on the evolution of the international and professional exams landscape, lead the planning and administration of various international and professional examinations, process and resolve examination irregularities and complaints, manage and develop a team of staff, prepare and brief examination personnel on examination operations and procedures, provide input and leadership in divisional meetings, continuously review the current practice and identify areas for improvement and business growth opportunities with the objective of expanding the business of the Division, and leading a team to efficiently administer various examinations, improve the Division’s services and operations and generate income to meet the financial targets of the Division within the given resources, timeline, relevant policies and guidelines of the Division and HKEAA.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
- At least 10 years’ of relevant working experience, with not less than 8 years at supervisory or managerial level in education-related or public sectors;
- Leadership and management skills;
- Negotiation, business administration and development skills;
- Interpersonal, organisation, analytical and communication skills;
- Knowledge of education administration or examinations operation;
- Experienced in customer service, complaint handling and problem solving;
- Hands-on experience with PC and internet skills;
- Highly meticulous and ability to work under pressure and irregular hours;
- Ability to complete internal training on corporate/divisional guidelines and procedures and pass the corresponding internal assessments within the period agreed with the supervisor(s);
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese preferably including Putonghua.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
