Objectives
QM China Hub Field Quality takes responsibility for consolidating and enhancing various central quality functions in China. QM China Hub Field Quality ensures both CBU and PbP carlines quality in terms of quality field sensor, concept quality, claim management etc. in RD C/P under DGRC.
Description
• Management (standard item for position with leading role):
- The management, motivation and development of staff using HR tools, founded on our mission statement & corporate values, and provision of purposeful internal communications in order to achieve the agreed objectives.
- Ensuring that the necessary training appropriate to the needs of individual employees and the tasks assigned to them is provided.
- Informing subordinated employees about the relevant provisions and instructing them to comply with the provisions. Ensuring that they are implemented properly.
• Quality field Sensor and Concept quality:
- Supervising all quality field sensors in China market for all MB carlines.
- Preparing field issue report for management to keep transparency; Managing the field issue data/information transfer to RD, BMBS, BBAC and MO/QM Germany; Steering field issues resolution with China Issue Resolution Team (CIRT) and organization of China Sensor Round (CSR), China Issue Board (CIB) and Qualitätsgespräch China (QGP China) management.
- Managing mIQS and IQS etc. customer studies in China and drive issue resolution process.
• Quality for Retail
- Leading the fulfillment of Sales & After-Sales Quality process targets set by central process owners to support global process goals of the defined market related processes.
• Claim management (Quality)
- Adminstritive and HR management for claim management in BBAC. Ensure close alignment with back office function of claim management (Quality) in Germany and BBAC.
• LOG Claim management
- Ensure and improve the supply chain and logistics quality for imported production parts from Europe to the BBAC plant. Coordinating and supporting the further development of logistics quality processes and methods. Ensure close alignment with process participants in Germany and BBAC.
• Budget, strategic planning and new business development:
- Budget planning for all functions; budget alignment with controlling as well as all business sponsors in MO/QM.
- Strategic planning for QM China Hub to ensure the QM activites matching overall MB cars business development in China.
- Developing new business in China based on the request from MO/QM.
