Job Description
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition, the Senior Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Operations will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence team encompassing Talent Acquisition technology (systems, tools, vendors), operations (global process & programs and OPEX) and global candidate experience and employment branding. In this role the leader will help architect and manage a comprehensive framework for operations behind a workforce of more than 120 recruiters and recruiting leaders, worldwide. This leader will also serve as the function lead for strategy and resource support for big strategic recruitment and hiring initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth hiring plans. Responsible for defining, improving, and scaling our recruiting systems, processes, tools, and best practices globally. The Senior Manager will also ensure a clear, consistent approach to reporting and metric tracking, talent acquisition effectiveness measures and insights. Essential functions include: Talent Acquisition Operations: Oversee OPEX and other projects connected to efficiency and advancements in the function Leads continuous process improvement and simplification efforts, while ensuring compliance and appropriate governance across the function Monitors global functional effectiveness, owns TA function productivity and performance reporting, and owns the global productivity scorecard for all big investments (technology, branding, 3rd party search firm engagement) Employee Referral Program & Global ERP Program Reward Execution & Policy administration Talent acquisition big process transition planning and recruiter/leader communications Global Talent Acquisition Technology / HR Technologies Liaison Responsible for evolving the TA technology roadmap, working closely with our HR IT leaders to ensure we make and manage investments Provides leadership and SME support for all TA Tools and technology Oversees major technology projects and deployments Owner of global TA vendor relationships, including contract reviews, RFP’s, renewals, and negotiations Global TA Business Support With the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition, manage global strategic hiring resourcing including planning for acquisition transitions and large-scale hiring plans Supports regional TA leaders in the reporting and business support needs for mega hiring programs NA AAP Partnership and Annual Reporting Activities, point of contact Continually strives to improve talent acquisition operations Global Employment Brand & Candidate Experience Provide oversight in partnership with the Global Branding and Candidate Experience leader for global strategy related to candidate experience and employer branding, connecting the dots between strategy and execution across the recruiter footprint Additional characteristics of the selected candidate will include: Leadership Skills: Comfortable and skilled at working cross-functionally and on a global level. A strong sense of urgency, commitment and follow through. Proven experience building strong relationships with a diverse team of people. Strategic planning skills: Agile and able to respond quickly to changes, and the needs of the organization with an ability to prioritize and use the resources of the breadth of Eaton to deliver outcomes. Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. A hard-working leader with the ability to delegate, but one who maintains a “hands-on” approach with critical assignments. Change management skills: Effectively leverages functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives. Comfortable with change, champions new and innovative ideas. Acts as a business partner – sees the big picture. Qualifications Minimum (Basic) Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a project management capacity preferably in a talent acquisition or human resources center of excellence. 5 years of people leadership experience both in a direct line and functional capacity. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Preferred Qualifications: MBA or other relevant advanced degree. Experience working in a complex, global matrixed organization Position Criteria: Expert at strategizing and organizing various programs into a cohesive framework Expert at communicating complex processes in a way that can be easily understood Experience with an ATS implementation at a global level, strongly preferred Working experience and knowledge of HRIS reporting and talent acquisition technology configurations strongly preferred. Experience with an industrial company (industrial/electrical automation, manufacturing), and enabling the journey to be a software industrial preferred.
