Job Description

The Job

Reporting to the General Manager (Human Resources), the main responsibilities of the appointee include:

  • To support in devising and implementing people strategies and initiatives, including but not limited to transformation and change programmes, to meet the strategic priorities of the organization;
  • To oversee full spectrum of HR duties including compensation and benefits, recruitment, performance management, talent management, employee engagement and retention, and managing HRIS systems and HR services providers;
  • To formulate, review and implement human resources policies, procedures and programmes to meet the needs of the organization;
  • To provide expert advice to line management in support of effective people management; and
  • To lead and coach HR staff to achieve departmental objectives.

 

The Person

  • A recognized degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, or equivalent;
  • At least ten years of relevant experience in human resources management, of which at least four years should be at managerial level, preferably gained in sizable or public organizations;
  • Experience in leading strategic initiatives and programmes, and/or change management projects is preferable;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Strategic and strong people management skills with the ability to gain credibility;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills as well as influencing skills to win over trust with the management;
  • Mature, flexible, customer-oriented and a good team player; and
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.

 

Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. All new appointments will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
