Objective of job
The Senior Manager of Platform & Security is responsible for the IT Infrastructure Platforms & Security in China focusing on overall ServiceNow, CIAM, IAM and Infrastructure Security.
The main objective of this position is to support the fast growing business in China.
This includes:
•Implementing global IT Infrastructure strategy in China, follow-up on the implementation and incorporating local business requirements into the global IT Infrastructure strategy
•Strategizing, planning, developing and ensuring a stable and efficient IT infrastructure operation to meet the growing business needs in regards to the area of responsibility
•Business Partner Relationship Management
•Working in close cooperation with the IT application units
•Planning, monitoring and organizing the internal and external service providers

•Leadership
-Providing leadership, direction and supervision for staff. Managing, motivating, and developing a high-performance team using target agreements and OKR, conducting
regular appraisals of staff against clearly defined objectives. Participating in all programs and enforcing all policies relating to performance evaluations and career development planning.
-Developing flexible and multi-skilled staffs, ensuring that the necessary trainings which
cover the needs and tasks of individual employees are provided. Supporting, developing and overseeing improvement processes.

-Informing the assigned employees about the relevant provisions and instructing them to comply with these. Ensuring that these provisions are properly implemented and
monitored.

•Management of IT Products and Projects
Initiate and manage the following IT Infrastructure products and projects based on global IT strategy together with other IT departments and in cooperation with other Daimler units:
-ServiceNow
-CIAM
-IAM products in use in China market
-Security products in use in China market
Manage IT projects in the mentioned areas from requirement specification to Go-live and manage transition into line organization.
Successful implementation of projects in time, in quality and in budget.
•Stake Holder Management
Bring efficiency and transparency of APAC and HQ shared services to all related stakeholders in China by proactive communication and being agile in getting IT infrastructure platform & security readiness.
•Information Security management and IT standard management
Implementation of global IT security guidelines including virus protection, firewall management, business continuity and disaster recovery. Ensure Infrastructure is compliant to Daimler security policies and standards.
