What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world! In this vital role you will define, create, and own the learning experience strategy, planning, and designing for technical learning programs with a specific focus on respective products and therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the Center of Launch Excellence (COLE) and global and US Marketing Leads / Field Learning Business Partners to ensure learning is aligned to business needs
  • Diagnose and identify learning solution opportunities to help meet business needs and close performance gaps for product and therapeutic area programs, including any competitive intelligence programs
  • Coordinate demand, capability, and capacity planning and engages with Learning Operations Planning Support to inform budget needs for product launch programs
  • Apply innovative design thinking and adult learning principles in the design of learning experiences for respective brands and product launches across BUs / regions
  • Design and develop comprehensive, interactive, and engaging solutions in the flow of work to address learning needs (i.e., gamification, VR, etc.)
  • Determine appropriate mix of delivery methodologies with learner-centric mindset
  • Understand breadth of tools, resources, day-to-day operations of learners to design an experience that embeds learning in the flow of work
  • Oversee and support teams conducting detailed design, creation, and branding activities
  • Engage GLS or manage external vendors to develop/deliver content, as needed
  • Provides Train-the-Training sessions as needed to potential facilitators for product / therapeutic area programs
  • Strategize and design program sustainment and adoption plan
  • Design innovative ways to assess performance in developing learning program quality
  • Review detailed design with LBPs and business subject matter experts to ensure needs and objectives are met
  • Create and manage Learning brand strategy for respective programs, including development of branding materials and learning collateral
  • Evaluate success for the programs based on the metrics guideline and standardization set up by the Learning Operations and Enablement Lead
  • Gather feedback on Learning experiences, preferred vendor experience / evaluation, and facilitator experience for continuous improvement
  • Anticipate needs to create a modern, digital learning experience that enable development and long-term career growth
  • Stay up to date with latest and future learning experience trends and share best practices

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of commercial and/or business experience

OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of commercial and/or business experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of commercial and/or business experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of commercial and/or business experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of commercial and/or business experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills
  • Goal oriented and results driven
  • Ability to lead and manage projects from concept to completion
  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
  • Interface effectively with all levels, including senior management
  • Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and fairness

  • Awareness and ability to navigate and conform to Commercialization and Corporate Governance processes
