Senior Manager, Operations & Technology (US Remote)

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world! In this vital role the Senior Manager will be primarily responsible for maintaining new/existing learning platforms and training capabilities and perform related operational activities for our global training teams.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Lead, source, hire the Operations team to support deployment operations and logistics for GCO Engagement and Delivery

  • Identify ways to innovate and create process efficiencies to deliver operational excellence

  • Ensure compliance and audit readiness for Phase 1 and 2 of new hire training

  • Think strategically about Next Gen learning technology and capabilities and recommend solutions to support GCO L&P and help maintain the technology roadmap

  • Represent GCO and act as a liaison with IS and other functions as needed

  • Collaborate with other training functions (GLS, R&D, Ops and Corp) on shared technologies and/or projects

  • Strategically help drive utilization of technology platforms and tools

  • Lead technical support and operations including logistics, optimization, and sustainment of learning capabilities and platforms (Degreed, iCoach, Klaxoon)

  • Technical subject matter expert for L&P capabilities

  • Assist in vendor management, including engaging Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), relationship management, negotiating contracts, managing licenses, and end user communications

  • Deliver Ops & Tech Quarterly Dashboards and assist with ad hoc reporting (LMS, Degreed, iCoach, Zoho)

  • Bridge operations and technology priorities and capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of commercial operations and/or business experience

Or

  • Master’s degree and 4 years of commercial operations and/or business experience

Or

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of commercial operations and/or business experience

Or

  • Associate’s degree and 10 years of commercial operations and/or business experience

Or

  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of commercial operations and/or business experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry experie

  • Strong managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking, project management skills and learning agility

  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative

  • Strong advocacy and communication skills

  • Goal oriented and results driven

  • Ability to handle challenging and ambiguous situations

  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively present information

  • Ability to collaborate, lead, and influence cross-functional teams and partners

  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues

  • Awareness and ability to navigate and conform to Commercialization and Corporate Governance processes
