Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with our sales team across all titles (Cosmopolitan HK, ELLE HK, ELLE Men HK, Esquire HK, Harper’s Bazaar HK) and Products team to develop and execute strategic and revenue driving initiatives on performance marketing projects;
- Attend client meetings with the sales team as a subject matter expert to help pitch clients on programmatic, social and other products & services related to performance marketing;
- Build and review proposals, media plans, and other client-facing materials to ensure accurate and customized responses, giving the Company the best chance at winning opportunities;
- Oversee, monitor and optimise all programmatic / performance driven campaigns;
- Anticipate the Sales team’s needs by regularly meeting with BDs to understand their opportunities and challenges;
- Become an internal consultative resource to sales team by understanding agency/advertiser challenges, regional/vertical/competitor dynamics, and SCMP Hearst’s positioning and platform.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in any disciplines with minimum of 5 years of programmatic, digital strategy, and or media planning experience, (ideally have worked for an ad network, exchange, DSP, agency, or other digital advertising companies);
- Experience in leading small teams including demonstrated ability to successfully lead and coach team members;
- A good team player who is capable of working with cross departments and teams to cross pollinate and drive results;
- Knowledge of AdTech ecosystem and/or programmatic industry, DSPs, DMPs, etc. required; comfortable with online advertising metrics/KPIs;
- Strong relationship management skills, including previous experience in building consensus across peers and leadership;
- Ability to think analytically, strategically, and tactically, formulate a cohesive narrative while storytelling in an effective and concise manner, and utilizing a data-driven approach;
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, ambitious, and scrappy; deal well with ambiguity and take initiative and ownership to get the job done;
- Good written and verbal communications skills, ability to articulate thoughts and ideas to internal and external stakeholders;
- Quick learner and able to grasp new technology and product changes;
- Meticulous attention to detail and able to produce high-quality work;
- Proficient in MS Office, advanced level in MS Excel, MS Word & PowerPoint skills is an advantage;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin would be an advantage;
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager, Performance Strategist.
Work Location will be in Wong Chuk Hang Office - South Island Place.
