Objective of job
• The team lead of ITT Platform is responsible to provide ITT tool chains, products and solutions in terms of speed, quality and cost efficient to IT application teams and business units.
• Build up Daimler China Platform Strategy and Technology framework.
• Lead IT Infrastructure toward fully automation and Self-service.
• Manage service budget planning and tracking.
• Establishes and maintains a high performance team, follow up leadership 202x, lead by example and develop people.
Task description
• People Management
- Motivation and development of staff using target agreements and performance appraisals, founded on our mission statement & corporate values, and provision of purposeful internal communications in order to achieve the agreed objectives.
- Ensure that the necessary training appropriate to the needs of individual employees and the tasks assigned to them is provided.
- Inform the team about the relevant provisions and instructing them to comply with the provisions. Ensuring that they are implemented properly.
- Think outside the box’ to generate business value for customers/ business units, thinking creatively to develop new/improved solutions
- Exhibit a willingness to do things differently and translate ideas into actions that deliver results
• Business Consulting
- Strengthen the presence of the team as an agile center of excellence. Actively contribute to communities across teams
- Conduct research, data collection, analysis and synthesis to prepare, present and deliver recommendations and solutions to ITx and Bunisess Units.
- Steer the development of solutions that meet requirements, and facilitate effective communications with ITx and Business Units.
- Ablitiy to identify and implement saving measures to achieve cost efficiency.
- Lead complex global and cross teams projects.
• Service Governance for Public Cloud Service
- Central/end to end life cycle manage Daimler China Public Cloud: Azure, AWS, Ali.
- Cloud project Demand, Architecture design, build, operation.
- DevOps model to run cloud projects, agile is the core.
- Cloud core service and shared service build up and run efficiency.
- Manage public cloud providers(i.e. Azure China) and Cloud Opearation Partners for day-to-day cloud operations based on defined SLA
• Service Governance for Private Cloud Service:
- Ensure private cloud technical stack is fully managed.
- Manage 3rd party technical stack setup, monitor the SLA, contract.
- Leverage private cloud and public cloud resource and technical setup
• Best-in-Class Platform Techonology:
- Define the platform strategy, positioning on-premise and Off-premise platform in Daimler.
- Lead ITT technical principles, and mature it by daily operation, get well alignment with all stakeholders.
- Build up public cloud and cloud native solution with the consideration of cost efficient, and best fit to Daimler infrastructure.
- Build the tools, platform towards Infra as Code, DevOps, agile.
- Set up the swarm with ITS/ITF application architects and align the same direction/strategy.
