This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

The incumbent will lead a team of engineering professional and assist the senior management ensuring that both the medium and long-term development projects are planned and delivered on schedule to meet the Authority's target. He/She will have delegated authority to assist General Manager, Project Coordination on periodical and analytical reporting of the 3RS Project for the senior management.

Responsibilities:

•  Ensuring effective and efficient project management of civil engineering and building works, including overall project planning including developing/ formulating process reporting strategies to produce periodical, accurate, analytical and timely reports and management information;
• Close liaison and coordination with various stakeholders to identify constraints to continuous improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the controls processes and systems;
• Participation in the project control by analytical review of planning, risk and performance data for reporting to senior management;
• Develop, implement and maintain the use of standardised reporting tools; and
• Administer the Project Management System, procedures and manuals including periodic updates and ensure consistent understanding of Project Quality System across the whole TRD team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Services or related disciplines
• Member of HKIA / HKIE / HKIS or other equivalent professional bodies
• At least 15 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum of 8 years should be in project management
• Solid proven hands-on experience in project management of large scale multi-disciplinary construction projects
• Understanding of various construction methods and techniques, including those related to data analysis
• Excellent leadership, problem solving and communication skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and Putonghua will be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management software tools
