Responsibilities: 

• Managing and planning of new development initiatives of the Corporation to ensure the successful acquisition of land from the government to cope with long term development planning
• Work independently with consultants on planning, development and management issues such as planning application, land acquisition, lease modification and technical feasibility study, etc
• Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders in accomplishing development / project objectives
• Prepare documents for selection/appointment of consultants and to follow up on subsequent management and monitoring of their performance
• Perform programme management role for on-going projects
• Prepare papers and reports for approval by the Board, Committees, and Task Force of the Corporation
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

 
Requirements: 

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years post-qualification working experience gained from property developer, consultants, or statutory bodies. Candidate with at least 5 years’ at managerial level is preferable; less experience may be considered for lower position
• Familiar with project feasibility studies, planning application, land acquisition process, etc. Have strong marketing sense, good knowledge of statutory requirements and procedures for development projects in Hong Kong
• Demonstrated aptitude in working with diverse stakeholders to seek consensus and win trusts, in diverse and dynamic environments.
• Professional qualification in Town Planning, Surveying, Architecture or related discipline is a plus;
• Self-driven, responsible, organized, independent, analytical, strong communication & project management skills and able to achieve timelines
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
