The successful incumbent will participate in planning and implementation of various projects, e.g. attract potential clients to anchor in Advanced Manufacturing Center (“AMC”) at Tseung Kwan O so as to empower innovation & technology driven re-industrialization. He / she will manage various stages of the project cycle including management of a personalized high-mix production line, marketing promotion, and business development as well as tendering and budgeting.  

Responsibilities: 

• Proactively drive and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, e.g. academia, research institutes and business clients, with ultimate goal to attract them to land in our new specialized industrial spaces such as AMC
• Drive and manage the tenancy admission process including applicant pipeline generation, tendering process, due diligence analysis, direct client relationship management and collaboration activities management
• Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to accomplish project objectives, interact with potential clients and understand their technical requirements for office or factory set-up
• Develop and manage an automation system and a pilot electronic production line in AMC
• Prepare marketing materials for promotion of HKSTP’s re-industrialization initiatives and contribute to the overall industrial estate positioning and strategy
• Engage in organizing and managing group business development activities such as trade shows, study mission and/or exchanges with partner companies / organizations
• Prepare papers and reports for approval by the Management, and relevant Committees
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements: 

• Possession of a Bachelor degree in technology, engineering or related area, preferably with a higher degree in electronic manufacturing;
• Minimum 10 years’ working experience in manufacturing, business development and management of key accounts, with at least 5 years’ at sales and marketing or product management; preferably with experience in technical R&D management, factory establishment, or management;
• Knowledge in manufacturing line set up and automation development;
• Demonstrated solid marketing and account management experiences in related industries will be an advantage;
• Self-motivated, strong team player and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
