Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Sustainability Development works closely with the FM team and other BUs to establish a Sustainability Program to advocate for and promote sustainable development within the organization. The job holder will support to implement sustainability development strategies and environmental assessment by working with different business units and external parties. He/she will also coordinate the hospitality's environmental related initiatives and promoting them to maximize its awareness among team members and the public through different channels in conjunction with relevant stakeholders. The manager will also oversee the sustainability performance and analysis of key sustainability data and performance metrics for producing relevant reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify, explore and implement new environmental initiatives by assessment to enhance the environmental management program.
• Oversee and manage in collecting, validating, analyzing and interpreting the environmental and energy data for sustainability reporting.
• Plan and drive various sustainability development initiatives with relevant internal teams and external stakeholders from idealization to implementation
• Drive and coordinate internal and external communications of various Sustainability Development programs by working with multiple internal teams and external partners. Monitor progress and evaluate impact of Sustainability Development programmes
• Research and report on local and international environmental regulations and compliance
• Develop business scenarios in conjunction with relevant business units to achieve the sustainability development goals.
• Benchmark competitors’ operational and reporting performance in the sustainable development area
• Oversee and respond to external requests, such as regulators, investors, and NGOs, on SD performance issues
• Develop staff engagement programme on SD issues
• Oversee and manage the environmental management system based on ISO standards.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental, Building Services or related field with emphasis on sustainability management, environmental management and property services.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Green Building and Sustainability industry.
• Knowledge and familiar with Sustainability Reporting and Performance Analysis are essential.
• Sound understanding of Sustainability Development issues, best practices, local and international compliance requirements, and sustainability reporting standards based on Hospitality industry.
• Ability to manage budget and personnel. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ISO environmental management systems is an added advantage.
