In this vital role the Senior Manager Sales Force Insights (CV) is primarily responsible for business support & portfolio operations to help drive scalable processes & change initiatives for the cardiovascular unit. You will work with sales leadership to generate insights from data analysis that enable sub national tactics and overall sales force effectiveness improvement. You will be responsible for a wide variety of portfolio management and reporting for the Repatha Cardiovascular Sales Force team. This is a cross-functional role across the company and with external partners. You will partner with multiple functions including Commercial Data & Analytics, Payer Analytics, Size & Structure, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and other finance teams, to deliver accurate and meaningful performance updates and business improvement insights. This position reports to the Director of the Sales Force Size and Structure within US Field Excellence Organization with a dotted line to the CV Sales Leader and sits on the CV Sales Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with sales & commercial leadership to frame key analytical requirements for enabling sales force effectiveness
  • Provide assessment of key sales tactics by tracking various key metrics (sales, call data etc.); Assess effectiveness and impact of targeting efforts at a local level
  • Find opportunities for improving salesforce execution by generating key insights and inform solutions to drive field impact; help define, manage and track impact of such programs
  • Analyze data across markets on key dimensions like sales, providers, payers, business drivers, etc. to create market archetypes and work with leadership to create specific programs
  • Help in managing the growing US investment portfolio and provide management weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and provide support to business leadership teams
  • Partner with multiple functions including Commercial Data & Analytics, Payer Analytics, Size & Structure, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and other finance teams to deliver accurate and meaningful performance updates
  • Prepare and consolidate slide decks for various presentations & team meetings, including but not limited to: Quarterly Business Reviews, forecasting meetings, weekly partner meetings, team offsite
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to support the implementation of scalable business & operations processes for the US Cardiovascular Sales Force team
  • Manage communications and status reporting to internal customers and stakeholders
  • This role will be responsible for generating key execution insights, collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to communicate impact and / or generate programs and recommend SF activity changes, track outcomes of key programs, and adapt analysis needs.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of management consulting, analytics, financial planning & analysis, and/or accounting experience

OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of management consulting, analytics, financial planning & analysis, and/or accounting experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of management consulting, analytics, financial planning & analysis, and/or accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills—able to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences; Communicates in a clear, concise and timely manner and operates effectively as a team player
  • Proven project management skills—able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and data sources; Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities & can adapt quickly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and internationally in a complex matrix organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record in process re-engineering and optimization
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-directed/driven with excellent organizational skills
  • Results-oriented and able to move forward without complete information
  • Broad, working knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry secondary databases
  • Professional in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Experience with Tableau and/or Salesforce
