Produce in-depth statistical analysis in order to optimise the slot and table floor with the ultimate goal of maximising the overall gaming profit, while taking into account the complex interactions between customers and their gaming preferences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide independent views regarding the gaming floor performance and the trend of table market in Macau
• Recommend floor changes and identify risks, and opportunities to further optimize the gaming field
• Prepare property level periodic reports of key performance indicators and interpret prevailing trends for review by management.
• Assist in data-mining and statistical analysis in the gaming field.
• Review and validate KPI data, interpret prevailing trends and prepare reports for review by management
• Liaise with senior management and able to explain complicated topics in an approachable manner
• Maintain several aspects of the data warehouse system
• Analyse a variety of issues on an ad hoc basis as requested by management.
• Be responsible for auditing reports versus budgetary, historical and industry benchmarks.
• Manage small to medium scope projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• Successful candidates must have at least six years of relevant work experience of which 1-2 years in similar position
• Candidates must have a proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles
• Preference is given to candidates with gaming or hospitality experience

Education

• Candidates must hold a degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of hospitality, gaming, statistics, marketing, finance, engineering, business administration or mathematics.
• Preference is given to candidates with a post graduate degree from a major, accredited institution

Skills / Competencies

• Candidate must have a mature presentation style and be comfortable interacting with senior management
• Candidates should have strong English writing and excellent Cantonese/Mandarin speaking skills
• Candidate must be near expert proficiency in MS Excel and quite strong in PowerPoint
• Preference must have superior technical skills in SAS, Visual Basic, SQL, Python, R or Cognos.
• Strong project management skills is a must
