Reporting to the Director / Senior Director, the Senior Manager will assist in the regulation and supervision of information technology (IT) infrastructure of exchanges, clearing houses and automated trading services providers and in the formulation of regulatory policy in relation to new technological developments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role are to monitor technological developments as well as related regulatory changes in major financial markets and assess the potential impact on the Hong Kong market. The successful candidate will also need to supervise the development and operations of the critical IT systems of exchanges and clearing houses to ensure a high degree of security and operational reliability. 

Requirements:

You must have a university degree in Systems Engineering, Financial Technology or Computer Science with broad experience in the IT operations of exchanges/clearing houses or major financial institutions. You should have a sound understanding of the IT infrastructure and related regulation of financial markets in Hong Kong, the Mainland and major overseas markets. A strong command of written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Chinese would be an added advantage.
