The role would include, external reporting; communications and stakeholder engagement; analysis of impact reduction projects; developing corporate procedures; and working with corporate functions and properties to drive performance improvement.

You will work collaboratively with teams across the business to develop programs that provide value for Melco while reducing the environmental and social impacts of business activities.

This position is based in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the development of corporate sustainability strategies that reflect the environmental, social, and governance issues important to Melco
• Oversee implementation of Melco’s sustainability goals and targets across the business; improve implementation methodologies, set annual milestones, and establish reporting mechanisms to inform employees and executive leadership on progress.
• Support the production of an annual corporate sustainability report, including data collection, measurement and analysis, and content development.
• Participate in external speaking opportunities to promote Melco’s progress and perspective on industry sustainability topics.
• Organize internal sustainability events and other engagements to promote and inspire Melco staff.

Experience:

• Bachelor Degree required; Masters or MBA a plus
• 5+ years in sustainability strategy (or related) development and program implementation
• Knowledge of major global sustainability principles, standards, and codes of conduct
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills (English and Chinese); able to describe complex concepts to multiple audiences
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate responsibility, sustainability, employee engagement, and communications programs
• Experience in delivering high quality written reports, recommendations and presentations to multiple audiences using sound reasoning and data
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows programs (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Outlook), using internet search engines, mobile technologies, and data analytical tools
