Purpose & Key accountabilities:

- Development of talent management strategies and concepts for the Asia Pacific region, based on the Group framework and regional / local needs
- Regional adaptations of global concepts and programs related to strategic talent management. Provision of regional input and representation of the interests of the region in the definition of Group principles.
- Monitor the progress and evaluate the performance of talent management activities conducted by local HR, and ensure the conformity to Group and Regional guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze market and competitor trends regarding talent management strategies and solutions in the region, and development of recommendations for the region and/or the BMW Group. 

 Impact on innovations and changes :

 - Design, develop and modify talent management guidelines and programs to make sure that they fit regional needs and are in alignment with group policies and requirements.
- Identifies areas for improvement of strategic talent management topics in the region, and derive action plans.
- Market observation, analysis of trend with focus on strategic talent management and regular practice sharing with other companies.

Education:

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development or in a related field of study.

Work experience, Leadership experience:

Experience in Human Resources talent development related functions
Experience in Talent Management, Project Management and Organization Development
Intercultural Experience

Additional skills: special skills / technical ability :

Proficient English. German would be an advantage
High interpersonal and intercultural competence
Ability to shape and steer topics in a complex environment
Analytical and strategic competence
Excellent communication skills, esp. cross culture communication
Knowledge in workshop facilitation
Knowledge in design and implementation of strategic talent management programs
Knowledge in Talent Management, including organizational development and change management
