Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Transaction Services to join our team. This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Beachwood, OH. Relocation assistance will be provided. Position Overview: This role will report to the Vice President, Corporate Development and support the organization’s efforts with acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other inorganic growth initiatives. This role will primarily have responsibility for managing and executing financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transaction projects. From time-to-time, this role will also support broader project management of the transaction process, development of business valuations, perform ad hoc financial analysis, and support the corporate development strategic planning process as and when needed. This role will also work cross-functionally and cross-border with other corporate and operational teams to analyze target company financials, provide technical accounting guidance on business acquisitions and divestitures, and provide guidance on valuation and key provisions within purchase price agreements. The successful candidate will be an expert-level manager role with comprehensive, deep experience Finance and Accounting background and in this role you will: Lead financial due diligence and provide detailed financial analysis, technical accounting guidance, and transaction structuring. Quantify the financial impact of acquiring or divesting business or product lines, provide guidance on the drafting of purchase and sale agreements, and transitional services agreements Quantify synergies and integration costs, support the valuation of businesses, present findings with C-level management as well as Operational GM, VPs, etc. Develop comprehensive due diligence reports and manage the overall financial due diligence process on a global basis. Lead the financial due diligence for all assigned deals (i.e. mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, JV's). Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required Minimum 10 years of accounting or finance experience Minimum 5 years of due diligence experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree CPA certification Manager/leader of people experience Position Criteria: Strong project management skills Strong influencing, communication, and coaching skills Experience presenting to senior leadership Experience in collaborating with leaders Strong analytical skills, including experience using metrics for analysis for various leadership levels and initiatives Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
