General Position Summary/Purpose The Senior Manager, Market Access Marketing role reports directly to the Director of Market Access Marketing. This individual will be responsible for the development, management, and execution of a wide range of strategic and promotional activities, working closely with the Market Access Marketing team, brand marketing teams, and internal stakeholders to lead and support access marketing campaigns that educate and inform payer, channel & trade customers about IMBRUVICA. The role will report directly to the Director of Market Access and will partner with several departments including but not limited to the US Market Access teams, Brand Marketing, Market Research, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs, HEOR and external customers. The candidate must have excellent project management skills and be able to operate in a fast-paced organization, with high expectations and accountability for quality of deliverables. Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities Develop, coordinate and execute field-promoted and non-personal promotional programs to deliver on strategic objectives associated with targeted payer, channel, and trade segments Lead and manage GPO and conference related promotional activities to address dynamic channel needs and help to ensure marketing success Partner with Brand Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory, Market Research, Legal, Medical Affairs and Medical Affairs Coordinate and successfully manage key vendors and agencies to ensure project success Manage program budgets Develop and assess metrics to ensure successful program implementation and operation Help to guide and shape brand strategic decisions through market research and experience Assist in the content development and execution of payer and trade advisory boards Demonstrate company values consistently. Acts, and is accountable to act, in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies Qualifications Qualifications BS/BA required; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred At least 5 years of experience in developing, executing, and measuring marketing tactics for specialty products or significant experience promoting Oncology or Hematology/Oncology products Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues Experience working in Access Marketing is preferred Outstanding project management including experience managing multiple vendors and agency partners Demonstrated analytical skills, project planning and organizational skills required Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment Strong communication and ability to influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time Additional Information Significant Work Activities and Conditions: N/A Travel: 15% Job Type: Experienced Schedule: Full-time Job Level Code: M Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel Yes, 15 % of the Time Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code M Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
