We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager and Actuary, Products. 

In this role, you will​

• Initiate and drive product innovation and product development, especially in response to the low interest rate environment and new regulatory changes
• Further develop and enhance current product offering, derive the right product solution and convey our product strategy and solutions to the key stakeholders
• Actively working with Actuarial and Reinsurers to deliver competitive insurance products which fit the company's product strategy.
• To play a leadership role in the management of the in force business. Lead on going product management to ensure the group's risk appetite and financial targets are delivered.
• Manage and oversee the delivering the financial and business analyses for managing the product portfolio of the company focusing on universal life products.
• Monitor the products' performance indicators and provide recommendations on any management actions to enhance the company performance and financial healthiness.
• Prepare regular product management analyses and communicate them to key stakeholders to steer any product management actions.
• Report any potential product issues that may impact the company, distributions and customers and provide recommendation on resolutions.
• Take a personal responsibility for ensuring awareness of changes in business or regulation that affects, or potentially affects, business success. 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements​

• Solid years of working experience in actuarial function in life insurance company
• University graduate or above
• Possess a qualified actuarial qualification
• Strong experience in product development and management, including product development, pricing, valuation, reporting, asset liability management
• Preferred experience in life insurance industry in Hong Kong
• Possess strong technical expertise and is able to react quickly when new requirements arise
• Work beyond the boundaries of usual time and effort in meeting these expectations, creatively and innovatively in often addressing uniquely individual challenges in product development and management
• Possess strong expertise and is able to learn quickly when new products or requirements arise
• Be equipped with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Be a self motivated, pro active self starter with the ability and attributes to act and perform with minimal direction or instruction
• Possess strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Have strong business acumen
