Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
- BS or MS degree in ME, EE or IE background.
- Requires extensive years of experience in small electric device manufacturing engineering experience.
- Good verbal and written communications skill in English.
- Familiar with smart phone or PAD assemble process is a plus.
- Familiar with Solidworks CAD system is a plus.
- Familiar with Excel & PowerPoint.
Requirement:
- Join the each new product design phase with R&D, provide DFx review for an easy to assemble, partial/semi automation assemble, cost effective, robust, shorter cycle time MFG process design through PLC (Product Life Cycle) checkpoint.
- Develops, modifies or streamline the product manufacturing process.
- Bring in & Determines new assemble technology for new developing product.
- Travel to CMs and Support NPI run, leading to solve manufacturing problem log associated with PCBA/mechanical parts or assembly process, approve the NPI product.
- Doing the product transferring from current CM to New CM.
- Providing the H/C, UPH & UPPH for should be cost evaluation.
- Providing and maintain responsibility product labor hours and shall be cost calculation.
- Reviewing the rework labor hours in CMs by case.
- Interface with worldwide VFI contracted manufacturing factory for any quality issue.
- Review the ECO, DDD, MCO ,BOM, assemble drawing prior to an Agile (PDM system) release, issuing quality hold and maintain the hold status.
- Provide the AOS (assurance of shipment) supporting to on site in CM.
- Supporting on providing reworking instruction to postponement center.
- Supporting on supplier factory audit or provide them technical support in urgent quality case. (NUDD project)
- Supporting on field returned unit failure analysis
- Reviewing/approve/implement the assembly fixture including cost & function.
- The leader of the New product MPE team with TE & CM management engineer.
- Update the MFG procedure/document & drawing.
- Special assignment from Management
Additional Skills & Ability :
Candidate with any of the following experiences, characters or willing to be trained will be a plus
- IPC level 2, PCB assembly process & DFM (design for manufacturability) review.
- Capable for a Mechanical Design review.
- Teamwork.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good personality Can-do attitude.
- Willing to lean the simple testing software.
- 6 Sigma skill.
