As a Senior Manufacturing Mechanic, you will be responsible for: Provide multi-craft process maintenance support to Newark Reagent Manufacturing. Performs required preventive maintenance on complex production equipment. Takes an active role in continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives. Always maintain high safety standards. Independently seeks solutions. Work professionally with internal and external customers Work closely with technical personnel on projects and equipment improvements. Support the equipment used to manufacture critical reagent consumables used in the Atellica, Syva, Stratus, Dimension and Immulite platforms along with calibrators and verifiers. Required skills to have for the success of this role Requires skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, software, PLCs, vision systems and other advanced technologies. Proactive, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting skills are critical. Associates Degree, Journey certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to utilize mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, computer, and computer control systems. Candidate must have good interpersonal skills to successfully within a team environment and be able to work independently.
