- Responsible for maximizing the value of AstraZeneca’s products (existing and pipeline).
- Support Development and implementation of Market Access and Health Technology Assessment Strategies and/or related activities.
- Developing and Managing Patient support Programs (PSP).
- Develop Pricing Business Cases and Value Based Strategies.
- Exploring Alternative Contracting Models and other innovative Pricing solutions.
- Serve as a strategic partner for Cross Functional Teams across the business to support value and unit growth in supported Business Units.
- Educate, train and support Commercial Business on reimbursement-related issues in order to enable optimal access to AstraZeneca Products.
- Co-travel with field Sales Representatives, where required, to identify reimbursement gaps in-field and work on finding solutions that result in better access.
- Constantly engage with external customers on AstraZeneca Product Value stories to gain support for Funder education strategies.
- Constant engagement and collaboration with cross functional business units to make AstraZeneca a Great Place to Work.
Non- Negotiable Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum 5 years Market Access experience required.
- Understanding of the South African Healthcare Market
- Teamwork and leadership skills, including the ability to consult extensively with cross functional teams and act within a matrix organization
