Senior Marketing Associate – Cardiovascular & Renal

What you will do

You’ll have full ownership of the strategic and operational plan for our core Renal brand, and you will lead the execution of flagship initiatives for our Cardiovascular brand. 50% of your role will be dedicated to our Renal franchise, and 50% to Cardiovascular. You will work across core marketing, value and patient access, strategy, and in-field execution. Other key essential duties include:

  • Lead in the development and implementation of the strategic and operational plan for the Renal franchise, under the guidance of the Head of Marketing
  • Oversees the Renal budget, tracking planning, and spend for all Renal activities
  • Lead in the development of high investment initiatives, such as our head office led branded national Renal KOL meeting
  • Help shape brand strategies and operational plans across GenMed
  • Support the GenMed marketing team on market research, field training, reporting, analytics, and various other commercial activities
  • Activate and engage key external customers (HCPs, payors, etc) through partnership working, promotional material, head office led meetings, etc.
  • Conduct analysis and interpretation of sales data, KPIs, market research/trends, and support our overall ‘insight driven’ vision
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of plans and activities
  • Delivery and evaluation of omni-channel plans, and the development of content that activates customers across channels
  • Manage operating expenses and delivering budgeted sales

You will be joining a newly formed marketing team within the GenMed business unit, working across the Cardiovascular-Renal-Osteoporosis portfolio. Under the support of our head of marketing, you will lead and own a variety of commercial initiatives spanning omni-channel, value & patient access, strategy, and all things core marketing.

  • Proven commercial experience within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment with multiple priorities
  • Proven business management/business acumen and communication skills
  • Strong analytic and strategic skills
  • Hands-on approach to solving problems
  • Fluent in regulatory frameworks and code of practice (ABPI / IPHA)
