Job Description

You will work in a caring team which emphasizes on releasing the potential of each member. This role is responsible for executing the full life cycle of online marketing campaigns in China, especially through SEO and SEM. The (Senior) Marketing Communications Executive will work with the Senior Communications Manager to deliver on an SEO/SEM strategy that supports business growth, by attracting potential customers and engaging existing ones.

What you’ll be doing:

Your job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage T&F China website to increase overall website traffic
  • Investigate and identify the right mix of SEO/SEM tactics on both content and channels
  • Execute search engine marketing plan in channels, including but not limited to Baidu, Zhihu, Sogo and other paid channels with marketing budget planning
  • Implement marketing campaigns to engage researchers through online tactics (website, social media, email, etc.) and drive business growth
  • Monitor performance of marketing activities and recommend optimization measures
  • Be adept in data analytics and use the data to inform action plans
  • Manage and work with vendors on SEO/SEM-related projects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Editorial, Product, and Sales teams) to share the latest digital marketing development, views and best practice across all regions
  • Support Marketing Manager in defining SEO/SEM strategy and marketing plans
  • Contribute to departmental objectives as required

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • SEM knowledge and experience is a must; SEO and content related experience would be a big plus
  • Proven experience in at least one of the search engine marketing channels: Baidu, Google or any other channels
  • Excellent skills in marketing copywriting
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in multi-cultural environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Team player and relationship building abilities
  • Demonstrated initiatives in continuous learning by identifying and developing skill gaps
  • Degree level or equivalent professional qualification preferred
