Job Description
POSITION
Summary:
The responsibility of Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive is to assist the Product Manager to initiate 360 degree new product launch and to drive business performance and brand building goals thru product launch / re-promote campaign. To implement effective trade & promotion calendar for HK & Macau to achieve specific revenue, profitability and market share.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Management
- Be project leader, to lead and to initiate 360 marketing plan, with retail-relevant "striking ideas" of assigned new product launch or marketing campaign
- To handle new launch forecast of assigned category and follow through by working closely with supply and demand planning team
- To prepare product analysis report and new launch sales tracking report with insight and suggestions
- To know well about competitor activities and approaches in the cosmetic industry
- To be responsible for the market research to know well the consumer needs and brand opportunities in the market with the actions to be initiated accordingly
Trade Marketing Planning Execution
- To initiate and conduct traffic driven tactics including but not limited to door animations, strategic retailer promotions, roadshow and special corporate offers
- To provide timely performance tracking report and evaluation on campaign result and effectiveness with reasonable ROI
- To maintain good relationship with trade partners in order to negotiate for retailer resources and to maximize the brand exposure in highly competitive retail environment
- To master promotion plan, as well as promotion material forecast, by proposing retail relevant promotion mechanics and developing local promotion material with the theme of launch
- To capture and to consolidate the latest market competition information through regular store visit, meetings with retail team and consumer surveys
Others
- To assist & support the Senior Marketing Manager and Product Manager in other areas if required
PROFILE
SAVOIRS:
- At least 2-year relevant experience for Marketing Executive / 4-year relevant experience for Senior Marketing Executive
- Degree holder, preferably in Business Administration / Marketing / Journalism
- Good spoken and written English and Chinese
- Experience in in-house consumer brand, retail or beauty industry is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel and Power Point
