Position: (Sr.) Marketing Manager

Department: Prolia Marketing
To support Prolia Go Big initiative in China, we would like to open new position of “Marketing Manager / Sr. Marketing Manager” in Prolia for Amgen China Marketing Team. This new role will take the responsibilities to lead in designing and implementing patient activation programs.
Job Description:
Patient activation is a key pillar of Prolia strategy in China, targeting to improve overall diagnosis and treatment rate, and channel unaware undiagnosed patients to desired site for treatment and long term management. This role mainly focuses on online and offline Prolia patient activation program design and implementation. He/she will also work with Sr. Marketing Manager of China Marketing Team to evaluate program outcomes, identify opportunities and develop strategic planning along product lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as project owner for patient activation projects, and be accountable for designing, planning, internal processes, implementation, performance tracking, and program optimization
- Report to Sr. Marketing Manager and work together to cross-functional team in developing patient activation strategy and objectives
Responsibilities:
- Support development of brand planning and business forecast
- Design and implement key patient activation programs for Prolia
- Develop performance tracking KPI and dashboard, monitor and ensure execution excellence
- Maintain can-do attitude in driving programs forward, and stay vigilant for external environment / policy / competition changes for potential opportunities and risks
- Coordinate with Medical, Commercial Excellence, Strategic Planning, Finance and other cross-functional partners
- Budget owner/tracking/cross functional allocation
- Comply with all relevant company compliance, policies, procedures and work practices.
- Lead and guide junior marketers in brand development and key tactics.
- Support other activities as required by the manager.
Required Qualification/ Experience / Skills / Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience is a must.
- Consulting background or past patient activation / consumer activation experience is a plus
- Innovative thinking, self-motivated, someone works well in team
- Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
- Team work and communication
- Results orientated
- Strategic partnering management (internal & external)
- MBA is a plus
