Our Position
Are you passionate about driving success and launching in new indications to improve patient lives? Do you love using your deep understanding of marketing to deliver creative and forward-thinking strategies to the business?
Reporting to the Franchise Head, DNA Damage Response (DDR) – you will lead a cross-functional team to support the growth and adoption of our ovarian and prostate cancer indications, advance genetic testing protocols in the Canadian market and shape the market for future opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Empowering, mentoring and developing a direct report (Marketing Manager - MM).
Leading the development of brand strategic thinking and growth across multiple indications and tumour sites, with a key focus on Ovarian, Prostate and Breast cancer.
You will own the brand, lead a cross-functional team and provide strategic direction to the sales team all with a passion for putting the patient at the center of everything we do.
Working within our AZ/Merck Alliance structure to further foster collaboration and drive the success of our franchise.
Maximizing the forward-thinking potential of the brand through cross-functional development and execution of the Brand Strategy, Positioning, Segmentation and Operational Plans across multiple tumour sites.
Working with our Diagnostics team to optimize BRCA testing across multiple tumour sites.
Working closely with the Canadian regulatory and access team to secure new indications and funding.
Working with key external customers on shared goals for testing, treating and positively transforming the Canadian landscape for patients
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent in science and/or business is an asset
Previous oncology and/or diagnostics experience is required
Solid understanding of Product Management with previous brand launch experience preferred
People Management experience is a definite asset
Digital marketing experience is an asset
Strong planning skills and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience successfully leading a cross-functional team is required
Well-developed impact, influence and coaching skills
Financial acumen inputting on forecast assumptions, budget spend optimization and trade-off decisions
High self-awareness with the ability to build positive relationships using your strong interpersonal skills
