Position Description / Introduction / Summary / Overview This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As Senior Marketing Manager, Global Hematology, you will be responsible for: Creating and implementing specific marketing programs and standards and completing a range of general marketing operations (i.e. analyses, campaigns) for Siemens novel portfolio of Hematology instruments, Atellica® HEMA. You are responsible for meeting or exceeding the business plan for the Atellica HEMA project and for driving activities that support the efforts of the commercial and regional marketing organizations in countries, with primary focus in North and Latin America. You will also collaborate with the clinical marketing team for establishing the clinical and scientific positioning of Atellica HEMA and for creating synergies across diagnostic disciplines in our disease state management programs. In this role, you will serve as a market representative ensuring both successful commercialization of Atellica HEMA and providing expert advice to the Hematology franchise management in support of product enhancement plans and portfolio roadmap decisions. You will actively pulse the industry to understand the competitive environment, anticipate market trends and demands, and be capable of developing and presenting business proposals for product / portfolio strategic initiatives. You should be capable of actively participating in and influencing cross functional teams governing our hematology product and portfolio strategy, product health, and new product development initiatives. Relationship development with customers and country sales and marketing organizations is essential to clearly understand customer needs and translate those needs into actionable requirements and programs. Active engagement, support of, and strategizing with country marketing is critical to the success of this role. Develop and drive realization of commercial and marketing priorities, with focus on regional messaging and positioning Work with Finance and Regional Marketing to recommend pricing and promotion strategies Work with Global Marcom and Regional Marketing to create promotional materials Support Regional Marketing in the development of commercialization, and product service and support teams for new Hematology products Create regional strategies for optimizing overall commercial product health and profitability Identify, quantify and execute opportunities to grow market share in alignment with franchise strategy. Coordinate communications with regional marketing counterparts, building and maintaining deep relationships with country sales teams to identify and drive growth opportunities Collaborate with other Diagnostics Product Lines (Chem/IA, Automation, Informatics, Hemostasis, etc.) to ensure best practices and mutual activities are implemented for Hematology Participate in international conferences and customer meetings as a representative of the Hematology business Assess customer needs as part of input requirements for the development of new products or enhancing existing products or product lines Collect, analyze and provide critical insight on competitive products and activities in Hematology within the responsible geographies Facilitate competitive targeting and competitive response in coordination with Global and Regional Marketing and Sales Critical Competencies / Required Knowledge/Skills, and Experience Required skills to have for the success of this role Comprehensive and authoritative (broad and deep) expertise and experience in the hematology market. Demonstrated success in the launch and commercialization of IVD products. Assertive, driven and able to influence, motivate and hold others accountable to achieve results.
