Reporting to the Franchise Head Hematology / Breast, the Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) – Hematology-Calquence will be a key leader in continuing to build Calquence into the standard of care and the BTKi of choice for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia patients in Canada.

The successful candidate for this role will be an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for customer engagement and putting patients first. You play to win but do the right thing and act with integrity, even when it is difficult.

Your role in helping us achieve our leadership ambition will be to:

• Lead the growth trajectory of Calquence in becoming the standard of care for first-line and Relapsed Refractory treatment of CLL patients with a no patient left behind mindset

• You will have accountability to maximize the forward-thinking potential of the brand through cross-functional development and execution of the Brand Strategy, Positioning, Segmentation and Operational Plans

• You will lead a cross-functional team and provide strategic direction to maximize the pull through execution with the Calquence sales team

• This role will also include empowering, mentoring and developing a direct report (Marketing Manager (MM) – Calquence

• Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.

You are joining a team of individuals in a culture that is science and patient-focused, agile and high-performing. Your role within this Oncology team will be to work collaboratively with the other Oncology SMMs and MMs to share best practices and identify synergies and opportunities for learning and shared platforms.

Qualifications:

• University degree in science and/or business

• Oncology or specialty care experience is preferred

• Product management experience is vital with previous Launch experience preferred

• Can build the strategic plan and lead a team to meet the objectives of the plan

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Experience successfully leading a team is an asset

• Well-developed impact & influence and coaching skills

• High self-awareness with the ability to build positive relationships using your strong interpersonal skills
