Main Job Responsibilites:

• New technology roll out in process and continuous improvement
• Ensure technological development
• Sustainable optimisation of manufacturing processes and procedures in order to meet all requirements regarding quality, productivity and production costs
• Continuous consultation with Department Manager/ supervisor about relevant tasks within the department (incl. respective reporting)
• Keep contacts to customers and suppliers
• Follow environmental regulations
• Continuous optimisation regarding quality, productivity, environment and costs
• Ensure technological development
• Continuing education to guarantee state of the art status
• Implementation (realisation) of TS16949 and EN ISO 14001, EHAS18001
• Define process relevant procedure steps that aim to use existing resources perfectly and to minimise quantity of raw and auxiliary materials

Requirements:

Technical background

• Degree from higher technical college in chemistry or mech engineering, plus several years of professional experience
• Fluent in English
• Computer skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel, ACCESS), VB
• Good ability to manage stress
• Good analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Good team player and team leader
• Integrated and interdisciplinary thinking and acting
• Good communication and negotiation skills
