Key Achievements Expected:
Strategy & Communication Plan
- Manages the development, production and implementation of a strategic communication plan.
- Directs internal or external partners as required to ensure effective and efficient translation of communication strategies into activation plans.
- Benchmarks strategy and communication plan with other organizations seen as best in class.
- Executes actions plans for corporate and brand communication.
- Uses the performance measurements to establish a diagnostic.
PR Communication Strategy, Brand Content Production and Dissemination
- Applies knowledge to develop a creative brief.
- Initiates and manages discussions with sponsors and agencies.
- Develops communications specifications/contents for larger, more complex assignments, e.g., a national program.
- Consults with PR agencies or staff to arrange campaigns in all types of media.
- Optimizes the media plan during its implementation.
- Evaluates PR agency.
- Identifies key opportunities to create new content and functionality on site while improving existing website content and functionality to grow conversion rates and create a better user experience.
- Manages the brand content creative development process in partnership with creative team to ensure creative is consistently optimized and consistent with brand objectives.
- Manages relationship with external editorial, writers or consultants to ensure that they are consistent with the brand content strategy and style guidelines.
- Creates processes to ensure that content schedules and budget commitments are met.
- Works closely with the technical team (internal and external) to ensure that new site development aligns with content management needs and roadmaps.
- Enriches a proposed Owned/Shared/Earned/Paid (OSEP) plan
- Keeps up-to-date on trends and developments in design, materials, techniques and technology.
- Consolidates the performance campaign reviews and validates them as part of the media audit.
- Analyzes content data and delivers reports and summaries to understand effectiveness of each content stream.
Brand Strategy and Reputation Management
- Uses primary tools such as brand architecture and positioning sheets and mappings, including to compare with competitors.
- Ensures the consistency of the different brands' positioning within the Group's communication actions.
- Implements through his/her internal partners the Group Brand management standards in terms of editorial, visual and sound identities.
- Demonstrates understanding of brand performance and communication efficiency monitoring, including those of competitors.
Media relations
- Determines the best way to communicate information to the media, develops and implements a plan.
- Develops communication messages and identifies the most appropriate media to deliver messages to reach defined audiences and achieve communication objectives.
- Guides spokespersons in effective communication with the media.
- Initiates relationships with key individuals and groups in the media targeted at the enhancement of the company’s image and reputation.
- Identifies key local, regional and national media contacts, their role and influence, as well as those of professional trades.
- Recognizes and reports issues and situations that might have an adverse impact on the company’s image and reputation.
- Monitors and analyzes communication and assesses implications on the company’s reputation.
Crisis Communication
- Employs crisis principles to classify potential or current crises under supervision.
- Leverages crisis communication tools to manage crises of varying complexity.
- Identifies obstacles that can impact the success of crisis communication methods and tools.
- Develops holding statements to be delivered to stakeholders, through media outlets and/or on social media.
- Identifies key risk factors for an online crisis, escalating concerns as required.
- Monitors brand reputation on social media following the release of crisis communication content.
- Follows reputation management guidelines to maintain the organization’s reputation and authenticity through stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experiences in PR Industry (in-house or agency).
- Out-going personality, good initiatives, willing to share and communicate during work.
- Creative, flexible, adaptive to everchanging business environment.
- Abilities to use English as working language.
