JD for Senior Merchandiser/Buyer

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Merchandiser for our Buying department with experience in domestic purchase (China and Asia countries)

Duties:

• Work closely with the buying team in Spain
• Negotiating with the suppliers in order to obtain the best cost conditions for the garments, best quality and best deadline.
• Control and manage the orders so that the garments enter our stores on the established deadline.
• Investigate the market for profitable purchases and optimize costs.
• Follow up and control of the production process, from the definition of the model to the validation of the sample and finally, to the store delivery.
• Prepare and follow the buying budget for your products.
• Focus on market trends and search for new product resources.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree, major related to garment or fashion is better
• Minimum experience : 4-5 years in a similar position
• Good at woven products
• Good fashion sense, Experience in European market is better
• Fluent in English
• Team work
