Job Responsibilities:

• Supports new material concepts for new season start fabric research/presentation
• Follows up fabric development and arrange the protocol for salesman samples, fabric approvals and testing reports
• Contact with fabric suppliers and garment vendors for all fabric research
• Innovative research for new fabric, trends, finishes and new material for textiles
• Risk assessment and precaution to ensure materials meet the brand specification and testing requirement
• Maintains material developments and testing data records
• Supports PLM setup and necessary data entry
• On time delivery of prototypes, swatches, sales samples, photo shoot samples and size runs
• Finalizes materials details, prices, surcharges, lead times and order/color minimums to meet calendar deadlines
• Reviews and evaluates mills/suppliers’ performance

Job Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Merchandising or relevant field
• Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in apparel brands or related industry, KNIT
• Knowledge of PLM system is definitely an advantage
• Strong product eye as well as fashion related products
• Completely up to speed on fabric trends that are appropriate to our brand
• Able to work under pressure, embrace changes, result-oriented, strong problem solving skills and able to manage multiple tasks environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs
• Seasonal business trip is required
