Intel is looking for a dynamic & highly motivated Architect to join its microprocessor development. You will be joining a team developing state of the art future massively parallel microprocessor architecture targeting HPC/AI. The candidate will be responsible for defining major clusters' firmware, delivering detailed architectural specification documentation and working with cross-functional engineering teams on simulation, design and validation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate should possess a B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant CPU, GPU or DSP experience
- The candidate should possess very good software skills, be fluent with 'C' and assembler programming as well as solid experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python or Ruby
- Fluent working with UNIX OS
Desirable Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge in one or more of the following domains would be an advantage:
- IA/X86 instruction Set Architecture and/or ARM/RISC-V ISA
- Operating Systems principles (interrupts, paging, system level calls, etc..)
- Microprocessor microarchitecture expertise in one or more of the following areas: instruction fetch and decode, branch prediction, instruction scheduling and register renaming, out-of-order execution, integer and floating point execution, load/store execution, cache and memory subsystems
- Verilog and/or VHDL development as well as knowledge of logic design principles along with timing and power implications is in advantage

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
