Job Description

Intel is looking for a dynamic & highly motivated software developer to join its microprocessor development. You will be joining a team developing state of the art future massively parallel microprocessor architecture targeting HPC/AI. The candidate will be responsible for developing multi-threaded simulation infrastructure, modeling complex microprocessor micro-architecture building blocks and integrating with existing toolchain and workflow automation. The candidate will be working with cross-functional engineering teams on micro-architecture, design and validation


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science with 7 years of development experience of multi-threaded high performance complex systems.
- Thorough knowledge of C, C++ or JAVA
- Fluent in UNIX and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby or Perl.

Desirable Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should possess an MSc or PhD in Computer Science with 12+ years of development experience of multi-threaded high performance complex systems.
- Thorough knowledge of Rust or JAVA, Haskell, Clojure, Scala, F#, Go or Erlang.
- In-depth knowledge of microprocessor architecture including one or more of the following areas: instruction fetch and decode, branch prediction, instruction scheduling and register renaming, out-of-order execution, load/store execution, cache and memory subsystems
- Familiarity with microprocessor architecture including one or more of the following areas: instruction fetch and decode, load/store execution, cache and memory subsystems is an advantage
